This bean pot is really nice and performs very well. It holds 2# (raw) navy beans and does the sloooow cooking needed very well. Its shape is especially conducive to its performance. The relatively small top opening that immediately spreads widely permits the beans to steam and bake without the liquid overflowing as it does for me in another straight-sided bean pot I have. This is the second of these pots I have bought; the other one I gave a s a gift and this one I got for a vacation home.

I ordered this item in good faith. The item arrived at my door with the handle on the cover broken and on the bottom of the pot. I emailed this company and so far have received no response and I have sent my second email.

The Company has since taken action on this complaint. I had to take photos of the broken item and they did replace it at no cost. My main complaint now was their timely response to my problem.
They did resolve the problem in satisfactory manner.
