Calphalon® One Infused Anodized Dutch Oven, 8.5 Quart

I've now cooked multiple meals in this 8-1/2qt. Calphalon One Infused Anodized Dutch Oven, and I can't imagine being any more satisfied! I was initially uncertain just how much use I would get out of such a large piece of cookware, but I shouldn't have been. I have made multiple batches of chili and posole with this, and many different braised meals. This oven can fit large pieces of meat/poultry and voluminous amounts of vegetables and liquids, instead of having to settle for smaller pieces/amounts in a smaller pan or oven. Like both reviewers before me have noted, cleanup is surprisingly easy. Even left overnight before washing (I don't recommend this!), the specially treated surfaces release food and residue easily and quickly. Overall, I couldn't be more satisfied with this purchase! It's nice to have when a BIG meal needs to be made!

This Dutch Oven is great for stovetop cooking and great in the oven. The pot is not as heavy as a cast iron dutch oven, and the clean up is great. Baked on food just slides off. I how have the complete set of Calpalon cookware, and I haven't a single complaint about the Calphalon Cookware. The Best set of pots I have ever owned.

The 5 Qt one I was looking at at Macy's was going for $250. Arrived on time in perfect condition, cleaned up beautifuly. As usual, I am was not disappointed my Calphalon purchase and my Amazon price. Purchased the Dutch Oven for a Chicken and Dumplings recipe, great size for feeding a large crowd.
