First off, the lid did not fit and I immediately noticed roughness and random small pits in the surface. I attempted to fix the fit of the lid by cleaning up some of the edges (due to a low quality casting job the edges were irregular). Even with clean smooth edges the lid still could not seal and would only rest crookedly. I started carefully looking around the edges to see if I missed anything and noticed a crack about 3/4 inch long on the lid as well.

It is rough, irregular, cracked, pitted, and all of the joins on the cast are obvious. It isn't even in good enough condition (crack, no seal) for me to cook with it and describe how well it works.
