I really LOVE this dish - so pretty, so functional, perfect size for mac and cheese for us - love love LOVE the colour and appearance. My ONLY downgrade is that if you use it in the regular oven, be SURE to use an oven 'glove' to lift the lid - and it stays hot way too long, I got a little finger burn after it had been out of the oven for several minutes. Corning, are you listening? Other than that, this pattern of Cornings is my favourite yet. And SOOO easy to clean! Recommended!

I was trying to replace a deep, square casserole that Corning used to make. That one finally broke after decades of great use. This one is too shallow and narrow to fit a lot of chicken parts or sweet potato pieces in. Yet, it holds the same 2 1/2 quarts. Pretty design though, and love the handles. It did arrive with terrible under-packaging. I marveled that it survived the trip.

I'm sure this dish is great but I wouldn't know it because it arrived at my house in 25 pieces. Do not buy this dish from Amazon.com. It will only arrive broken. I ordered it twice and each time it was smashed into pieces. They wrap the dish in bubble wrap and just place it in the box with no air packaging around it. It bounces all around in the box. Save yourself the time and just go buy it at a store. That's what I am left to do and unfortunately, pay a higher price for it.
