High-fired from premium lead-free Burgundy clay, the dishes distribute heat both gently and evenly throughout the contents. For added convenience, the design's shock- and temperature-resistance lets them go directly from the freezer to the oven. They are safe in the broiler, microwave, and dishwasher, and the glossy glaze should not chip, crack, scratch, or craze under typical use. Formed with a lightly ribbed exterior, each ramekin stands 1-3/4 inches high, measures 3-1/2 inches in diameter, and holds 6 ounces.
