Cajun Cookware Dutch Ovens 9 Quart Enamel Cast Iron Dutch Oven

This is a decent dutch oven for the price, but Le Creuset, Lodge, or KitchenAid it is not.

I wanted a 9 qt enamel dutch oven for making spagehetti sauce. I was originally going to go with a non-enameled Lodge 9qt dutch oven but chose this one because of the enamel finish since I don't know anything about seasoning cast iron.

What I love about this pot is:
- The large capacity
- The beautiful color
- The fact that it is enameled

What I think can be improved upon is:
- The wire handle. Mine arrived partially off and I had to use a pliers to squeeze it together so it wouldn't fall off. Besides that, however, the handle is pretty much useless. Since this is a heavy pot (but not as heavy as my 5 qt. Kitchen Aid Dutch Oven), the pot tips back and forth on the handle. In my opinion, never use the handle to carry the pot with anything in it. Instead use two hands to carry the pot via the grips on the side.

The item above is wonderful for cooking just about everything. The only downside is the fact that it's so heavy, but it's worth it as clean up is a breeze.
