I use it to cook omelets, brown beef, stir fries, saute veggies, etc. I read somewhere the tip "hot wok, cold oil". It works great. Heat the wok to cooking temp and then put in the oil/ butter and immediately add the food. When you do this the food does not stick. Clean up is a breeze using hot water and a clean rag or paper towel(NO soap!!)and then immediately season with high-temp oil or fat. It only takes a minute or two. The lid is great too. Pan is relatively lightweight. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By Faultlinegal (Phoenix AZ) - See all my reviews This review is from: ExcelSteel 3.75 Quart super lightweight cast iron casserole (Kitchen) I love this wok! It's lightweight and the perfect size for my stir frying. Gives that wonderful "wok hay" to my stir fries which I couldn't get with stainless steel and non stick skillets. |
