J.A. Henckels International, the economical division of Zwilling J.A. Henckels, makes the stylish and durable Classic Clad series for serious home cooks. As well as being oven- and broiler-safe up to 500 degrees F, each pot or pan features a brightly polished magnetic stainless-steel exterior safe for all types of stovetop burners: gas, electric, ceramic, induction, and halogen. The 18/10 stainless-steel interior resists sticking, won't react to acidic foods, and welcomes metal utensils. Henckels recommends washing Classic Clad pieces by hand to retain the mirror finish, and covers the cookware with a lifetime warranty against defects. Except for the frying pans, each pot shows liter and quart markings, and every piece comes wrapped in a soft, drawstring gift/storage bag. --Ann Bieri

Henckels International Classic Clad 3.5-Quart Dutch Oven with Lid (Kitchen) I am thrilled with this purchase. After purchasing and using the 1 quart saucepan for awhile, I decided to splurge and replace my old, cheaper SS pots with this brand. I gave me great pleasure to donate the old ones to a charity. I'm not likely to ever need new ones again, because these pots are so well made. My older ones would develop hot spots and tend to scorch unless you were glued to the pot while cooking. This brand of cookware does an excellent job. The heat is evenly dispersed, the handles are hefty, they are very sturdy without the weight of enameled cast iron in similar sizes and they clean up easily. What more could I ask for? This 3.5 quart pot is a great size and very versatile. The inside of the pot is 8 inches across. If you include the rolled lip (another great feature), it's 8.5 inches across. The inside measurements are an added bonus. They consist of both qt and liter...Read more By George C (Brooklyn, NY United States) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: J.A. Henckels International Classic Clad 3.5-Quart Dutch Oven with Lid (Kitchen) this pot has great luster and large comfortable handles. it is a hard to find size and most other pots in this size are much more expensive. it has accurate volume markings on the inside which i feel is a nice touch. the 20cm lid is identical to the ( optional ) lid i have on my henckels skillet - so i can use them interchangeably - also a nice touch.the only negative thing i can say is that the double small rivets on the handles while providing extremely strong construction ( due to well optimized geometry of the handles ) don't have that expensive look that a single large rivet has on some of my other cookware. in fact of all my clad cookware this pot has the smallest rivets. to be clear it also has the MOST rivets of all my cookware so it doesn't compromise actual quality in any way but it does compromise that classy look a bit. in other words the handles look more like you're buying well designed professional equipment than an expensive luxury item...Read more By Linda "Lisp" (Front Range Colorado) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: J.A. Henckels International Classic Clad 3.5-Quart Dutch Oven with Lid (Kitchen) I already had a full set of J.A. Henckels International Classic Clad pots and pans, but was missing a 3-1/2 qt. pot. I love the size of this pot and I love how the two handles feel rather than having one long handle. This is my favorite pot from my set. Besides its feel, it's a versatile size and easy to handle. |
