I lost the wife's older Pyrex cake pan with cover, at a picnic.
Wishing to make amends ASAP, I went to Amazon and found
this low priced item. Looking over other kitchen sites, this was the
lower priced.
It arrived promptly & in one piece.
Looked just like the one I'd lost, except for the brand name.
She still cooks goodies in it and uses the well sealed top for pot lucks
and such.
And I'm out of the dog house......

I bought this pan from my local store. It is a well made piece, however, even though it says that the dish and lid are microwaveable, the lid shrank after I used it in the microwave. I guess it is safe, since it didn't break or melt. I wouldn't recommend using the lid inside of the microwave, but I would still recommend the dish for purchase.

I love having a lid for the dish. This way i can prepare the food earlier and cover it in the fridge and then after having eaten i can use the lid to store.
