This is the most beautiful item of cookware that I own. The problem is the lid. The handle is too small to be able to grab it easily with a potholder. I can't believe Le Creuset put something out there with this kind of design flaw. I'm not sure how exactly you're supposed to be able to lift the lid on and off without either dropping it in the pot or scalding yourself.

I LOVE this pot. it is by far my favorite piece in myLC collection. Whenever I cook for friends, I always serve in this pot.
Which leads me to a problem.
I've lost the lid.
I must of left it at a friend's house (sometimes I bring the dinner to dinner parties). I have called around to everyone I know. The lid is nowhere to be found.
I'm posting this review on the very slight chance that someone somewhere has a lid to sell me??
Desperate!!
