Amazon.com Review
Designed originally in 1962 by Harold Holdcroft, Royal Albert's Old Country Roses has become one of the most popular china patterns in the company's century-long history. The sumptuous design is enhanced by the sophisticated shape, graceful floral ornamentation, rich feminine colors, and a style and elegance that are uniquely English.
Measuring 8-3/4 inches in diameter and standing 4-1/4 inches high, this ornate bowl from Royal Albert beautifully complements the entire line of Old Country Roses tableware pieces. Resting on a small base, the crisp white, flower-shaped bowl elegantly commands attention. Regal embellishments outlined in gold frame the decorative light pink, golden yellow, and deep pink country roses that adorn the outer bowl, while a hand-trimmed border of 22-carat gold enhances the two arched handles, rim, and base. The bowl is dishwasher-safe, however for best results, Royal Albert recommends washing fine china by hand. --Lea Werbel
