The measurements of this pot are 12 inches in diameter, and 4 1/2 inches tall. That would make this pot less than 7 quarts, NOT 8 quarts as advertised.

I bought their 6 quart pot and measured with water; It was less than 5 quarts.

If you want a good quality 7 quart pot, get Lodge, which is a lot cheaper. Because that's the size you will also get if you buy this pot. Not 8 quarts.
